Cost and financing, Portland

Dental implant cost in Portland: what decides it, and what the estimate shows.

We do not publish a price for an implant, because no two mouths need the same work. What we do publish is how the estimate is built, so you know what to expect before the consultation and what the paper will say after it.

  • Writtenevery phase itemised before treatment
  • No standing pricebecause every plan differs
  • Financingthird-party options, discussed upfront

The idea

A fair estimate is one you can read line by line, compare, take home and question. That is what we write.

What shapes it

Five things that move the estimate.

01

How many teeth

One implant, several, or a full arch are very different plans.

02

Your bone

Enough bone keeps the plan simple. If a graft is needed, it adds a phase, and complex grafts are referred.

03

Extractions

If a tooth has to come out first, that is its own step and its own line.

04

The restoration

A single crown, a bridge on implants or a full denture each cost differently.

05

The phases

A plan spread over months can be paid in stages, which is part of how financing works.

The paper

What the written estimate contains.

  1. 01

    The work, phase by phase

Extraction, placement, healing checks, abutment, crown, each with its own line.

  2. 02

    What may be covered

Where your plan is expected to contribute, and what it usually does not cover.

  3. 03

    Any referral

If an oral surgeon is involved, that cost is theirs to quote, and we say so.

  4. 04

    The timeline

Likely dates for each phase, so cost and time can be planned together.

  5. 05

    Maintenance

The cleaning visits and checks that protect the result, shown rather than hidden.

Who pays

Insurance and implants, in plain words.

Plans differ a great deal. We check yours before the visit and tell you what we find.

Part of the planInsurance may contributeWorth knowing
Consultation and scanSometimesDepends on the plan and the type of scan
ExtractionOftenUsually treated as a standard dental benefit
The implant itselfLess oftenMany plans exclude implants or cap them
The crownSometimesOften treated like any other crown, subject to limits
Maintenance visitsOftenCleanings and exams are usually covered at plan rates

Spreading the cost

Financing, and paying in phases.

Because an implant plan runs in phases, the cost does not all fall on one day. We bill each phase as it happens, and we can introduce third-party financing if you want to spread payments further.

We do not offer a standing discount and we do not use countdown offers. We would rather you took the plan home and decided calmly. Terms vary by lender, and we explain them before you commit.

  • Costs billed phase by phase
  • Third-party financing available, terms vary
  • No pressure and no countdown offers
  • A written estimate you can take elsewhere

FAQ

Questions about implant costs in Portland

Still unsure? Call (503) 555-0173.

Why do you not list a price?

Because the work depends on your bone, your teeth and the restoration you choose. A single standing price would be either wrong or misleading. The written estimate after your consultation is accurate.

Is the consultation part of the cost?

Ask us when you book. We explain how the consultation is handled, and what is included, before you come in. The visit includes an exam, a 3D scan and a written plan.

Does dental insurance cover implants?

Sometimes in part. Many plans cover extractions and crowns more readily than implants. We check your plan before the visit and show the expected contribution in your estimate.

Can I pay in stages?

Yes. The plan runs in phases, and each phase is billed as it happens. Third-party financing is also available, with terms that vary by lender.

What if I need a bone graft?

It adds a phase to the plan. Simple socket grafts can be part of an extraction. Complex grafts or sinus work are referred to an oral surgeon, who quotes separately.

Can I take the estimate to another dentist?

You can. The estimate is yours, itemised and written, so you can compare it with any other plan.
